I have the Loomis books but this is easier to use in bed and out and about.
I screenshot the images I want to draw then trace on top to learn.
Then I draw freehand while looking at the image to embed the skill in my memory.
It’s just really great, easy and fun to use.
I’ve just purchased 2 of 4 Tatan Books, and they’re very useful manual, clear and exhaustive. I’m actually a professional comic artist and a teacher of anatomy in the International School of Comics Milan, but there is always something to learn! I will certainly purchase the other 2!
Drawing heads have always been difficult for me especially and different angles. i just got this book and i already feel so much better going through the process. If you are interested in getting better with drawing heads and especially in anime style I highly recommend this easy to use E-Book
I’d been seeing the advertisement for the head drawing book go around instagram, so I’d saved it for a while. Just yesterday I became extremely frustrated with my lack of structural understanding of faces and remembered this book, rushed to buy it, and literally only studied the first fifteen or so pages. Immediately I’ve felt a huge difference— this book has helped me develop a foolproof method for understanding facial proportions that feels a lot better for me than the Loomis method. I’m very excited to crack open the rest of the book and keep studying!

You need these books! I love the information. the layout, the professional way he describes elements of anatomy and hair patterns. Do yourself a favor and get these books!

Full of great tips tricks and reminders for artists of all levels. Since this guide is drawn stylized, it might best for absolute newbie beginner artist to study from realism first, but if you have very basic knowledge of how to draw anatomy, this is a great resource to simplify and stylize your art while keeping proportions of the head and neck appealing.
If you want something’s comprehensive, and practical, to help with improving drawing heads and facial features, this is the thing you want.
Whilst, at over 200 pages, it may seem daunting, the clear, uncluttered layout, and visuals make it a great resource for everything around making your face art better, quicker.
I have the PDF on all of my devices, giving easy access any time I want to check on something I’ve forgotten, or want to clarify.

The book covers the anatomy and the structure of the face in a really good way with many examples, so it’s very easy to follow. The art style is also absolutely wonderful, simple enough that it’s not overwhelming, but detailed enough that you feel you can use what you’ve learned in various styles ranging from realistic to more cartoony styles. Highly recommend!
I've noticed this eBook for a few weeks now and told myself that I definitely wanted to get it for myself. I put it off, just forgetting about it here and there - then finally I jumped on it. I must say, this is such a nice educational reference to assist with simple art skills. I started to realise that my sketches were not very anatomically correct, and I'd get so caught up in how lost I was. This has assisted with my art regression and I'm now pushing myself to improve little bits each day. Thanks so much for offering this streamlined guide!

보통 얼굴 자료나 신체 자료는 따로 나뉘어 있는 경우가 많은데, 이건 얼굴과 몸을 함께 다루고 있어서 통합적으로 공부할 수 있다는 점이 정말 좋았어요:)
특히 얼굴 턴어라운드는 형태가 단순화되어 있어서 형태 잡는 연습에 딱이고, 몸은 여러 방향에서 디테일하게 보여줘서 근육 흐름을 이해하는 데도 큰 도움이 됐어요.
해외 사이트라 처음엔 조금 망설였는데, 실제로 받아보니까 퀄리티가 좋아서 지금은 아주 만족하면서 잘 쓰고 있어요! 추천합니다!
Anatomy books are great, but sometimes you just need a reminder of how big muscle groups interlock, as seen from a specific angle. These diagrams are super useful.
It's very helpful to see the forms in a turnaround animation because it helps me to view it in 3D.
I am a beginner in my art journey. My ultimate goal is to develop the skill of portrait drawing. I’m starting this journey late in life (mid 50’s) and so for the last few years I have been trying to absorb as much information as I can about the structure and planes of the head, etc. When I saw the adds for Tatan’s 360° head models I just had to give it a go. Only been using them a couple of days at this stage and my initial impression is that these are well designed models and will definitely help me in my quest to understand the planes of the head and facial features. They also work perfectly with the Procreate app on my iPad which is very handy. The only negative comment I have is on the price. I appreciate the amount of time and effort that must have went into producing all the images contained, but I do think $29 is a bit steep for an electronic file. That being said, it is a very useful tool to have in your library!
